Is there a water supply?

Yes, there will be a water supply at the visitor car park to keep your four-legged friends hydrated! This is only to be used solely for the dogs.

How do I book?

All bookings can be made via our website. If you have any special requirements, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

How do I access the field?

The field is accessed off Fellands Gate, Old Leake. You will need to enter ‘Lakeside Fishing Retreats’. Head down the tarmac drive and on your left you will see the signed visitor parking spaces for up to 4 cars. (EV Parking available at an extra cost). Once in the car park, you will need to walk to the left of the lake and cross the small bridge, keeping dogs on leads at all times. Follow the signs to the dog park adjacent to the fishing lake. Once at the dog park you will see the gates with a combination padlock which will give you access to the field. A code will be sent to you 30 minutes before your booking.

Will there be other dogs in the field?

There will be no other dogs in the field. Each booking is exclusive for your duration.

What if I am late for my allocated time slot, can I have longer in the park?

No. Please ensure you arrive and leave within your 25/50-minute slot. If you are late arriving for your allocated timeslot, you cannot add it on, you will lose that time. You will have to leave at the exact time your session finishes to allow other visitors to access the park on time for their timeslot.

What is Lakeside Secure Dog Field?

Lakeside Secure Dog field is a secure field designed for exercising and training your dogs, or simply just letting them have the freedom to run and play off a lead.

What is the fencing like?

It is V- mesh high security fencing and is 6ft high.

Will I need to bring poo bags?

Of course! So please ensure you pick up after your dogs and dispose in the bin provided.

Do you accept all dogs?

As long as all dogs are on a lead and if they need to be muzzled to and from the secure park.
